Veggies in September?

Well, yesterday was the most sunny dry day we will have for another week so I finally planted all the veggie seeds I was given by my friend Jenn and my landloard's father. Most of the packaged seeds said to expect veggies in 78 days. So I will be eating them in .......September? Oh well. Maybe I'll get lucky.

  1. I didn't even think of how long the seeds would take to grow. Oops! :)

  2. It's still exciting to try to grow some food. Thanks for all the seeds! Pray for my little seeds, they are getting water logged this week!

  3. We live in NW Ohio and we just planted pumkin seeds! Beth you can cheat a little and get plants from a store, we only planted the green beans and pumpkins and carrots from seeds.

  4. Marilyn's Money- I would have loved to have bought plants but they are not in the budget this year and I was already given seeds. I'll still be excited to see anything grow from the seeds. Next year I will already have my garden area established from this year and actually plant my seeds in little starter containers before putting them in the garden. Wish me luck!
