Rite Aid Gift of Savings

I got my $20 Rite Aid Gift of Savings check yesterday. I love getting paid to shop! Did any of you get yours?

  1. How did you get it? Still learning :)

Also, I just got my CVS card in the mail - I can now begin the fun! Hope you are having a nice week so far! Cathy

  2. About a month before Christmas they start the Gift of Savings promotion that runs until Dec. 24th. They do it every year. They also do a Fall gift of Savings. If you buy $100.01 or more from Rite Aid and submit receipts online than you earn $20 (has to be spent at Rite Aid)! You can earn $5 or $10 if you spend a smaller amount but I can't remember the cutoff amounts. Ideally, you want to get as many freebies (after single check rebates and coupons) as possible to build up this amount. By the way, your single check rebates purchases count towards this amount and any things that you get free with a bogo coupon counts also! For the Gift of Savings right before Christmas I tried to buy as much stuff as I could that I would have bought at other stores anyway. Of course I used as many coupons as possible.

I will do a post when these promotions come around again. Do you have a Rite Aid where you are?

  3. I do have a Rite Aid...a Walgreen's as well! They are just not in my usual "path," but that can be easily remedied!

It is interesting to me that these stand-alone drug stores all have this "dirty little secret" of being able to get stuff for free/cheap!

Do you recommend any specific website for coupons? I have been to a few, and they seem to all fall back to SmartSource coupons.

  4. I have to say that I have become very spoiled by getting freebies and things really cheap. I can't believe so many people don't do what I'm doing because the money you save can go towards all the things you can't use a coupon for! Plus, I love the security of having a stockpile : )

One good website for internet printable coupons is http://www.thekrazycouponlady.com/
Plus, the blogs in my blog roll to the right. A lot of them also tell you exactly what is on sale and the coupons to use each week. I've been trying to post links to IP coupons in some of my posts but it won't let me for some reason : ( Maybe I'll figure it out eventually.
